2. How We Use Your Data and AI Processing
Your privacy is our top priority. We use advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze your uploaded documents and facilitate interactive dialogues. We explicitly guarantee that: • No AI Training: We DO NOT use your personal data, uploaded documents, or chat histories to train, improve, or fine-tune our foundational AI models or any third-party models. • Your documents are processed strictly to provide the immediate service to you. Other uses: Service Delivery & Improvement: Personalize your learning experience and enhance AI conversation quality. Security: Prevent unauthorized access and detect anomalous behavior. Analytics: Analyze product usage trends in anonymized form to help us improve. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Retention and Storage
We adhere to strict data minimization principles. When you upload a document for analysis: • The document is securely transmitted to our AI service provider for processing. • Once the structural knowledge is extracted, the original document is automatically and permanently deleted from our active servers and our sub-processors within 48 hours. • We only retain the extracted structural "knowledge map" (chapters, summaries) and your chat history, which remain entirely private to your account. Your data is stored on protected servers with industry-standard encryption and security measures. Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt — we cannot see your plaintext password. We perform regular backups to prevent accidental data loss.
4. Third-Party Services & AI Model Training Policy
We use leading AI models to provide conversational learning services. Our commitments: No Training Use: We do not use your personal conversation records for proprietary model training. Vendor Compliance: We prioritize enterprise-grade privacy-compliant API interfaces, which typically commit to not using transmitted data for model iteration. Privacy Anonymization: Content sent to AI models contains only learning context and does not include your sensitive account information. We may use third-party analytics tools that only collect anonymized data. After integrating third-party login services such as Google, we will comply with their respective privacy policies. When you use these services, the way they handle your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Your Privacy Rights (Account Deletion)
You have full control over your data. Access: You can view and export your learning data at any time. Correction: You can update your account information. Deletion: You may request the complete deletion of your account, associated data, and chat histories at any time by contacting us or using the deletion option within the app settings. Upon request, we will permanently erase your personal data from our active databases within 30 days.
