Welcome to the services provided by knovea ("we", "us", or "our"). Please read the following terms carefully before using our services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by all terms in this agreement.
1. Service Description
knovea is an AI-powered interactive reading and learning platform offering knowledge map building, conversational learning, level-based points, and more. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the services at any time without prior notice.
2. Account Registration & Security
You must register an account (or log in via third-party authentication) to use our services. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Any loss caused by account compromise is your responsibility. Transferring, lending, or sharing accounts is prohibited.
3. User Content & Document Upload
Knovea acts solely as a technical processor of your uploaded documents. By uploading a file (e.g., PDF), you represent and warrant that you have the rights to the content, or have obtained all necessary permissions and authorizations. Knovea does not distribute, publicly display, or host your uploaded documents for other users. You bear full legal responsibility for the files you upload and analyze using this service.
4. Intellectual Property & Copyright Infringement (DMCA Policy)
Knowledge map content, AI-generated content, interface design, logos, and other materials on the platform are protected by intellectual property laws. Your learning data and conversation history belong to you. No content may be copied, distributed, or commercially used without prior written permission. To the extent permitted by law, you have a non-exclusive right to use unique content generated during your AI interactions, provided that such content shall not be used to develop products that compete with Knovea. We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe any content processed through Knovea infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@knovea.club with a detailed written notice. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly investigate and, where necessary, disable access to the infringing material or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
5. Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Knovea is a prepaid subscription service. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Account Settings or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, at which point you will retain access to premium features. No Refunds: Due to the nature of digital goods and the fact that AI computation costs are incurred immediately upon use, all subscription fees are final and non-refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months of use or unused quotas.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to: • Upload, generate, or discuss content that is illegal, pornographic, highly violent, promotes hate speech, or facilitates dangerous/illegal activities; • Post harmful, threatening, harassing, or rights-infringing content; • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt normal service operations; • Use automated tools (crawlers, bots, etc.) for bulk access or scraping; • Commercially republish or resell AI conversation content. If we detect violations of safety guidelines or AI infrastructure provider guidelines, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account without refund.
7. AI Content Disclaimer
You understand and agree that AI-generated content may contain inaccurate, incomplete, or biased information. Knovea does not represent any specific ideology or values; the AI's opinions do not represent the platform's position. When adopting AI recommendations for significant decisions involving medical, legal, financial, or other important matters, you should consult qualified professionals.
8. Service Interruptions & Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, system maintenance, or technical failures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the services.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the relevant jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations; if negotiations fail, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction.
10. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
